Seán Rocks was a talented broadcaster, as everyone has been saying all morning, he was also a lovely man. We were a small company with no clout when we first pitched our books to Seán and his team on RTÉ’s Arena and he showed us so much support over the years.
Seán would interview in a way that showed he had taken the time to read the books, engage with them and the ambition the authors have for them. He’d also talk about things that the books sparked in his imagination, and it led to many rich conversations.
He’ll be so sorely missed. We’re thinking of his family, friends and colleagues.
